4ASC to Esportal qualifier finals after huge turnaround

Esportal Vega seemed to head towards the finals of Esportal Open Qualifier 3 as they controlled the second game after winning the first.
But 4ASC pulled off a miraculous comeback to tie the series, and then win the deciding game in a dominant fashion.
– That was an impressive midgame by 4ASC, caster David ”Blaze” Dillon says.

The third Open Qualifier in Esportal Dota2 League has reached the semifinals, and in the first one Vega faced off against 4 Anchors + Sea Captain. After a solid win in the first game they looked to be heading to the finals when they held a 10-4 kill lead in the second game. But 4ASC were far from beat as they started working their way into the game again.

Led on by the Troll Warlord

In a deciding moment, 4ASC camped Vegas base, forcing out two suicides from their opponents and then wiping the squad leaving Vega with nothing else to do than ”gg” out of the game.
But Vega then took control in the deciding game. After gaining an early lane advantage, and then winning a teamfight around the 16 minute mark, they seemed poised to win and advance to the finals. This was not meant to be, as 4ASC led on by Lasse ”Matubaman” Urpalainen on his Troll Warlord and Sampsa ”nemphy” Kutvonen on Magnus dominated the mid game.

Forced Vega to tap out

Once the finnish squad started camping Vegas base the game was all but over. A couple of kills later their opponents were once again forced to tap out, eliminating them and sending 4ASC to the finals.
– That was an impressive mid game by 4ASC, caster David ”Blaze” Dillon praised the squad after securing their win.

In the finals they will face the winner between M5 and 4Clover, tomorrow at 18PM CET.
