Ninjas in Pyjamas latest addition might be leaving the team after only a couple of months.
According to sources, the team has discussed the latest results and where they’re headed, something that could indicate Mikail ”Maikelele” Bill is about to be replaced.
– I don’t want to say anything yet, but we’ll see what happens, he tells Aftonbladet Esport.

In November 2014, Mikail ”Maikelele” Bill replaced Robin ”Fifflaren” Johansson as the main AWP:er for Ninjas in Pyjamas. Since then, he’s claimed two big second places, DreamHack Winter and X-Games in Aspen, and one victory during Assembly Winter. But now he might be on his way out of the organisation.

”We’ll see what happens”

According to sources, a discussion within the team arose after their weak results during Pantamera CS:GO Challenge the past weekend, where they only won a single game. And after a post on Reddit where Fredrik ”Slop3” Wahlstedt speculated about Maikeleles place in the team the rumors started spreading. One of the pieces that led Slop3 to believe Maikelele was leaving is the fact that the AWP:er is playing a tournament with Team Orbit this weekend, while Ninjas in Pyjamas have a Starladder game on Sunday.
– I’m going to Älmhult to play a tournament with some friends. I don’t want to say anything yet, but we’ll see what happens, Maikelele tells Aftonbladet Esport.

”Going on a wild goose chase”

Commenting on the rumors in a follow up text message he writes:
”I can say that he’s going on a wild goose chase with what he wrote”.

No contracts have been torn according to sources, but a conversation within the team has sparked regarding their future heading and wether or not that involves Maikelele as a key player.
Ninjas in Pyjamas have said to Aftonbladet Esport that they will be adressing the rumors later on friday night.
