Teams set for Dreamhack Stockholm – fighting at the major offline qualifier

Earlier on Tuesday Team Liquid secured the last spot for the upcoming Dreamhack event in Stockholm.
There the teams will fight to prove that they belong at the next major tournament in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
”We are going to Sweden!”, Spencer ”Hiko” Martin wrote on twitter after beating Complexity.

Earlier on Tuesday the american Team Liquid, with fan favorite Martin ”Hiko” Spencer, secured the last spot for Dreamhack Stockholm. The other american team that are also set to attend the event are Mythic, former Luminosity Gaming, with Swedish duo Jonatan ”Devilwalk” Lundberg and Jacob ”Pyth” Mourujärvi on the front lines.

In the deciding match Team Liquid managed to beat Complexity in a convincing 2-0 fashion. Now the list of teams attending Dreamhack in Stockholm, Sweden, is complete.

European and Chinese presence

Other than the american teams, the Norwegian/Swedish lineup of Copenhagen Wolves are also set to join the event. Following them from the European qualifier are HellRaisers, Team Dignitas, MixCat and Dobry&Gaming. From Asia it is the Chinese team QeeYou that continues to attend international events, securing the only spot from the asian qualifier.

The Dreamhack event in Stockholm serves as an offline qualifier for the upcoming major in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. These are the teams that have fought through the online qualifiers. They’re now on a journey to prove that they belong at the next major.
