Changes in the DotA 2 Line-up
avThe NiP DotA 2 team have decided to change their lineup in order to further enhance their chance of becoming one of the best teams in the world. This is why we want to thank Joel ”Apemother” Larsson for his time on our team and welcome a new player, Linus ”Limmp” Blomdin to NiP.
”The world of e-sports is becoming more and more similar to the world of traditional sports, which brings to light that it does no longer exempt us from having to make changes in our lineups. We give our players and their coaches the majority of the power to make these decisions on their own, which we hope will have a positive turnout in the long run. As always, we are sad to lose a family member and all we can do is wish Joel the best of luck by letting another team take part of his skills.” says Per Lilliefelth, the CEO of NiP.
The DotA 2 team had the following to say on the matter; ”We want to thank Joel for the time that has been, it has been both fun and educational. Unfortunately, sometimes we need to make changes and this is definately not the last time we meet our friend. With that said, we have chosen to try Limmp from complexity, as we decide on who is going to play as midplayer in our lineup. We will keep delivering interesting and high quality DotA, so keep your eyes on us for the future! And a shout out to Apetaco!”
The team manager Linus ”Isola” Svensson wanted to develop the statement further; ”First and foremost I would like to thank Joel so much for the positive and professional spirit in which he has contributed to the team. Apemother has not only been our mid player, but moreover one of the five players that came so far in such a short amount of time. You can go very far, you are a star, and I wish you all the best for the future. You can be anything.”
The Ninjas in Pyjamas DotA 2 team are ranked 15th in the world and 7th in Europe and CIS.
