Congratz Livibee!

av Madeleine Leander

Olivia ”Livibee” Seeto just made it to Grand Master. It’s a great example of hard work paying off. On her twitter she states that she live, breath and dream StarCraft 2. Considering the amount of games she has played and the number of hours streaming (175 last month!) that has to be true.

I think goals are really important in life. And reaching a goal is an amazing feeling when you have worked really hard for it. You can find her reaction here. It reminds me of the reaction of the Swedish player Jesse “Crowbar” Mustonen when he made it to Grand Master.

To see people reach their goals is amazing too. And I have to say that it makes me extra happy when I see girls within esports reaching goals like this. Since female players are underrepresented within StarCraft 2 and other esports games I think it’s important with female role models and Livibee is one. I hope to see more of her in future tournaments!
