Fractured rib and weighted pullups!

It’s been three weeks now, without being able to sleep or breath without pain.

Three weeks ago I fractured my rib and now I realize that I have to make changes in my training (I’m a bit slow). I think that when you get hurt you should always look for possibilities and not quit doing what you love. That’s what I’m gonna do.

With a fractured rib I was able to reach a new goal. The goal was to make a pullup with 50 % of my bodyweight added. Now I’ll go back to pullups without added weight until my rib is healed.

Does this mean I’m sad? No way (but I have to admit that it affects me). Everyday when I wake up I’m happy because I have two arms, two legs, can eat whatever food I like and thousands of other things. A fractured rib is like a drop in the ocean.
