London Calling: A Gfinity Summer Masters Preview

av Joachim Rittfeldt Hofvenschiöld

This coming weekend we return to London, England once again to see eight of the world’s Counter Strike teams battle it out for a total prize pool of $80,000, the number one team on the day will walk away with the lion’s share a great $40,000, with the runners up taking $20,000. The two other teams who make it to the semi-finals will each take home $5,000, with 5th-8th places taking $2,500.

The previous Gfinity event was the Spring Masters 2 which saw fellow swedes Fnatic secure first place over Virtus Pro, with Na’Vi and Titan finishing 3rd and 4th. The Ninjas will be looking for a better finish than the time they were in London last after failing to make it past the group stage.

Joining them will be DDK, James Bardolph and HenryG. Providing the casters with their view of the battle, will be Albert Jonson as the Observer.

Sitting on the analysts desk at the event will once again be the ’Marmite’ trio of SirScoots, Richard Lewis and Thorin.

Hosted at the Vue Cinema located at the Fulham Broadway Shopping Centre, taking advantage of the 4k Cinema screens, with as you’d expect surround sound and luxurious seating, resulting in a great fan experience. So come on down and cheer on the Ninjas!
