All the ESPORTSM qualifiers in Starcraft 2 are now completed and our very own Anton ”Zanster” Dahlström secured himself the last spot a few minutes ago. Through the qualifier he only dropped one map and showed some real confident play for all the viewers.
The first opponent for the evening were his very team mate StarNaN who also had tried to qualify earlier during the season. Zanster ended the match with a 3-1 victory and moved on to the finals where he would have to play a mirror match against Namshar. This task did however were no problem at all and he convincingly won the series 3-0.
In the interview after the game he expressed thoughts of relief for finally managing to reach the playoffs. He also explained that he was well prepared for a ZvZ final due to his WCS match preparation for FireCake which took place earlier this week. Thanks to that preparation his match felt easier than it would otherwise do.
By winning tonight he joins his team mates NaNiwa and MorroW as well as the currently team less zerg player SortOf to fight for the Swedish title. The playoffs will take place in two weeks and we will make sure to remind so you you will not miss out on it.
Well played Zanster and best of luck preparing for the final challenge. Follow Zanster on twitter to share his journey to the top!
